NADRA Clarifies ‘B’ Form Cancellation Rumors: Documents Remain Valid

No Cancellation of Previously Issued ‘B’ Forms, Confirms NADRA

ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has officially clarified concerns regarding the cancellation of Child Registration Certificates (B-forms), confirming that all previously issued documents remain valid.

Clarification on B-Form Validity

In an official statement shared through NADRA’s social media platforms, the authority reassured the public that there is no truth to rumors suggesting that old B-forms have been cancelled.

Parents of children who already have a B-form and need to apply for a passport, as well as those with children aged 10 to 18 years applying for a B-form for the first time, should visit the nearest NADRA center with the child to complete the process.

Convenient Online Application Option

To facilitate the registration process, NADRA also allows parents to submit applications via the Pak-ID mobile app, providing a hassle-free digital solution for document processing.

Public Advised to Follow Official Updates

NADRA has emphasized citizens to ignore false reports circulating on social media and to rely only on official NADRA platforms for accurate information and updates.

This clarification ensures that parents and guardians may continue using their previously issued B-forms without concern, while also highlighting NADRA’s commitment to a smooth and efficient registration process.
