Novak Djokovic delivered a dominant performance in his third-round match at the Australian Open, defeating Tomas Machac 6-1, 6-4, 6-4 to reach the second week of the tournament for the 17th time.
Djokovic will face Czech player Jiri Lehecka in the fourth round, with the possibility of meeting French Open and Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz in the quarter-finals.
In the women’s draw, third seed Coco Gauff easily defeated Canada’s Leylah Fernandez 6-4, 6-2 on Margaret Court Arena.
